Why we built Remote Desk
Remote Desk started as a simple idea: remote access shouldn't require an account, a subscription, or a dozen confusing settings. Just open the app, share a short ID, and connect — the same way it should have always worked.
Under the hood, connections are peer-to-peer wherever possible, so your screen data travels directly between the two machines instead of through a central server. The signaling service only ever handles the initial handshake — never your screen content.
